As one of the principal members of the TrainingBoom team, Rick is committed to the company’s vision to provide dynamic and engaging web-based aviation training. Rick is a seasoned pilot with more than 11,000 accident and incident-free flight hours logged over his 26-year career with FedEx Corporation. He served in many key roles at FedEx including Line Check Airman/ FAA Designee, A300 Training Manager, Managing Director of Air Operations Training and Flight Standards, Falcon 20 First Officer and Captain of B727, MD11 and A300. Rick’s extensive background in training, operations and flight plays an instrumental role in TrainingBoom’s premium content and delivery.

Rick began his aviation career as a Naval Aviator and Officer for the United States Navy, where he retired as a Captain. Prior to his distinguished Naval career, Rick graduated, with distinction, from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History on an NROTC scholarship.
